Use this guide for claude.ai and Claude Desktop. Get your credentials from the TryRoki MCP integration page before you start.

Before you start

  • Copy the server URL: https://app.tryroki.com/mcp/articles
  • If your TryRoki workspace uses OAuth, you only need the server URL.
  • If you use a connect token, copy the full connect-token URL from the TryRoki dashboard.

Install in Claude

Open connector settings

In Claude, open Settings -> Connectors. In some accounts this appears under Customize -> Connectors.

Add a custom connector

Click + or Add, then choose Add custom connector.

Enter the TryRoki URL

Paste https://app.tryroki.com/mcp/articles. If you are using a connect token, paste the full connect-token URL from TryRoki instead.

Finish the connection

Save the connector. If Claude opens an authorization screen, sign in and approve access.

Use it in a chat

Open a chat, enable the TryRoki connector if Claude asks, and request an article action such as listing your TryRoki articles.

Team and Enterprise workspaces

If your Claude workspace is managed by an organization, an owner may need to add the custom connector first from organization connector settings. After that, members can connect it from their own connector settings.

Claude Desktop note

Claude Desktop does not connect to remote MCP servers through claude_desktop_config.json. That file is for local MCP servers that Claude Desktop starts on your computer. Add TryRoki through Settings -> Connectors instead.

Check that it worked

Ask Claude:
If Claude shows or asks permission to use TryRoki article tools, the connector is installed.
